I could have been blinded but thankfully my vision slowly returned with treatment including injections into my eyeball for several months. Yeah, really! I had a million tests to figure out what caused the clot and everything was inconclusive. One cardiologist who is the best around surmised the clot could have come from my leg. I told him I sit with my knees up to my chest or in other strange positions for hours at a time when working online. Not good.I was ordered to sit right and to MOVE even when I am working. A low dose aspirin and keeping my circulation good is the key to warding off another possibly deadly clot. That scared me enough to do something about my old habits. The pedal exerciser came unassembled, but assembly was easy. We attached the feet (bottoms) and pedals with supplied hardware. Once assembled, everyone in the family took turns using it...even my 5yr old daughter. She thought it was great to be able to watch tv while exercising. We put the exerciser on a rug, but suggest moving it to hardwood floor or something where the pads on the bottom of the feet won't slip. Our exerciser slipped some when certain people were using it...it might've been just the operators at the time! :) We really like the resistance knob. I bought this to go under my desk at work. There is some assembly coming out of the box, the feet need to be attached with screws and a provided Allen wrench. I was missing a few washers, but I was able to make it work with what I had in the garage. The pedals were a pain to put on but fit in snug at it took me overall about ten minutes to put together.
